Hamad Port resources will be engaged without prior approval of charges, under emergency conditions.
EMERGENCY CONDITIONS
If a vessel is reported as having an issue after entering Hamad Port channel, the Port will deploy a tug/tugs. Marine agent confirmation on the usage of these resources and their charges will not be sought. After the services are rendered, the agent will be notified and the charges added in the Port invoice. Charges will be applicable as per Port tariff.
NORMAL CONDITIONS
Should Harbour Units be required for services other than berthing and unberthing, then a request needs to be made in advance. Hamad Port VTS will confirm availability/non availability through email.
