The Latest Shipping Update On China – Week 3

Vaccination role out in China is picking up pace. Nearly 820,000 individuals working in epidemic prevention and control roles in Shanghai had received COVID-19 vaccinations as of Monday. Meanwhile, in Beijing’s Daxing district, over 470,000 people were tested for COVID-19. These nucleic acid tests are part of an extensive testing campaign in the wake of new COVID-19 cases and to complement vaccination role out efforts in China.

Foll data released by National Health Commission today (up until Tuesday 24:00hrs, related to mainland China only):

• Existing number of confirmed cases under treatment 1,473
• Confirmed cases 88,557
• Recovered cases 82,449
• Mortality 4,635
