The cities might be paralysed, but the seas are still busy, with over 50β000 vessels in operation. Shipping has been slowed, but not stopped, as procedures to protect crews and port teams have been implemented globally. Port authorities, crew, agents, inspectors and pilots are all doing everything they can to minimise the impact of COVID-19 on global trade, so that supply chains remain open and working efficiently.
Not an easy task, but such an important one, for which we are grateful.
