Severe weather has led to multiple temporary port closures across China this November 2023.

📢The situation

  • Due to the influence of a strong cold air mass, in the northern region of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, there will be a north wind of 4-6 levels, with gusts reaching 7-9 levels, and locally reaching 10 levels.
  • From the night of the 6th to the 7th November, there will be winds of 7-8 levels in the Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea, East China Sea, and other sea areas, with maximum gusts reaching 9-11 levels.
