Middle East | Port Operations Update

2 March, 2026 – Jebel Ali has officially resumed operations and major terminals in Oman and Kuwait are reopening. Significant suspensions remain in Bahrain and Shuaiba.

🔄 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗥𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀
Initial congestion is expected as line-ups rebuild.
𝗨𝗔𝗘 – Jebel Ali – Resumed, back online
𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻 – Salalah (Container Terminal) – Reopened, container operations active
𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 – Mina Al Ahmadi / Al Zour – Resumed under Security Level 2

🔴 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 / 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀
Maneuvers and port activities remain halted at:
𝗕𝗮𝗵𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 – All Marine Operations suspended until further notice (excluding Bapco)
𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 – Shuaiba Port – Activities stopped as of this morning
𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻 – Salalah (General Cargo) – Remains suspended despite container terminal reopening

⚠️ 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝟮
Operating under heightened security or specific vessel exclusions:
𝗨𝗔𝗘 (𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝘀𝘁) – Fujairah & Khorfakkan operational. Prohibition remains for vessels whose last port of call was Iran
𝗨𝗔𝗘 (𝗔𝗯𝘂 𝗗𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶) – Ruwais, Das Island and other ports operating under Security Level 2
𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁 – Shuwaikh Port – Active under Security Level 2

𝗢𝗺𝗮𝗻 – Mina Al Fahal, Sohar and Duqm
𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮 / 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿 – All ports reporting normal activity
𝗜𝗿𝗮𝗾 / 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 – All ports including the Suez Canal

As traffic builds again, our focus remains on execution and timing.
𝟭. 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝘂𝗽 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Backlog is forming at Jebel Ali. Berthing sequences are monitored to provide realistic ETB projections.
𝟮. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 – Calls in Abu Dhabi and Kuwait are handled case by case to meet Security Level 2 requirements and avoid clearance delays.
𝟯. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 – For Fujairah, last-port documentation is reviewed in advance to prevent entry denial linked to prior Iran calls.
