The Middle East Navigation Aids Service (MENAS) will increase its Navigational Light Dues (NAV DUES) this Sunday, 1st October 2023.
MENAS has advised that:
π²The increased rate is from USD $1.65/100NT (current) to USD $2.00/100NT. This represents a 21% increase.
π²The current upper NT limit is also being RAISED from 40,000NT to 49,999NT. This increase will generate a maximum port call bill of USD $999 at the new rate.
π²The current lower NT limit is being LOWERED from 15,000NT to 8,000NT. This decrease will generate a minimum port call bill of USD $160 at the new rate for an 8,000NT vessel.
β These changes will take effect on Sunday, 1st October 1st 2023 β
MENAS will review the Navigational Light Dues Tariffs annually, with the next review due to take place in September 2024.
