Having announced they will begin ship-to-ship operations, Benin has recently announced the associated charges with these operations.
Please note the following charges will be applied in Benin for ship-to-ship (STS) operations
- Mobilisation Fees (in and out): EUR 1,930
- Documentation: EUR 230
- Daily fee: EUR 1,145
Customs Benin charges: Tariffs are based on the cargo transferred
- Ships with a cargo of less than 10,000 MT: 0.23 EUR/MT (official cost, as per port tariff)
- Ships with a cargo of more than 10,000 MT: 0.16 EUR/MT (official cost, as per port tariff)
Other charges and details
- Port tariff charges for the anchorage are announced on 10 days basic (PARKING AND SECURITY/ISPS FEES).
- Lumpsum Navy clearance: EUR 2,600 (Port expenses + local coordination and agency fee, including royalties and ISPS and Covering per 10 days)
- STS greenlight and communication: EUR 40 (local coordination fee) per STS
- Vessel clearance is issued after STS operations are performed
- Clearance signature, issuance, transport, and coordination: EUR 200
