Vessels calling at Fujairah must comply with strict smoke emissions controls as per the notice to mariner of 14 September 2021. This applies to vessels in the port of Fujairah and in the Fujairah offshore anchorage area.
Smoke is defined as either soot or black/dark smoke. This may come from the engine’s exhaust system, generators, boilers etc.
