The Chinese National Day holiday will be from 1-7 October 2021.

Shipping during the Chinese National Day holiday

Port operations in most Chinese ports are still running as normal. However, many government offices and banks will be closed during this period.  As a result, the following services might be seriously affected or not available:
1. CTM withdrawal
2. Crew change (emergency cases excluded)
3. Customs clearance for spares via airfreight/pick up of sea freight

Find out the latest on shipping in China during COVID, available in this week’s report (week 39).   All data comes directly from our agent in China, Ocean Favor, the biggest non-state-owned shipping agency in China.
