Foreign crew change permitted at Tianjin port
- Foreign crew changes are still prohibited in most China ports, as the entry ban for foreigners announced by Foreign Ministry remains valid for the time being.
- Luckily, the resumption of foreign crew change at Tianjin port is on trial since the beginning of November 2020 as granted by local authorities, though the processes are extremely stringent and complicated, there have been only a few successful cases achieved by the end of the day which were mainly on an emergency basis, e.g. crew’s medical care or repatriation due to particular reasons.
