Effective IMMEDIATELY (09/06/2021): the Panama Canal Authority has advised that ‘the maximum authorized draft for the Neopanamax locks will be 15.24 m (50.0 feet) TFW‘.
Our local agent in Panama, Capas E.E.V. informed us that the maximum authorized draft for Panamax Locks remains at 12.04m (39.5 feet) TWF in the deepest point of immersion.
