High-risk area of Guangzhou moves against COVID-19

  • Residents affected by the coronavirus in the Baihedong subdistrict of Liwan district in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, have been sent to isolated hotels for medical observation, a senior health official from the city said on Tuesday.
  • To prevent and control the coronavirus, Guangzhou has collected nearly 28 million samples for testing, with 40 positive results detected.

 

Guangdong further tightens virus control amid new cases

  • All the agricultural produce markets in areas under closed management in Guangzhou suspended.
  • In Yuexiu district of Guangzhou, dine-in services at all restaurants and canteens were suspended on Monday.
