Our customer was facing huge delays and costs for their petroleum vessels calling at Mombasa. Why? Because obligatory pilotage was not permitted overnight for petroleum tankers and LPG vessels.

Up steps our Nisomar team in Kenya:

⚓They liaised with the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) regarding allowing 24/7 marine movements at the port
⚓As of 1st July 2023 KPA has commenced the provision of night pilotage services for petroleum tankers and LPG vessels
⚓Which will reduce delays and lower costs
