⚠ Is your vessel at Algeciras Port? Anchorage is currently CLOSED due to bad weather. Vessels are presently not allowed to drop anchor and pilots are instructed to proceed drifting. We do not expect the weather to improve until Saturday, 8th April.

Due to the adverse weather conditions forecast for the next few hours, evaluated by the Pilots Corporation and at the proposal of the Maritime Captaincy, from the General Directorate of the Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras it is determined:
1.- Evacuate the ships anchored in the Bravo, Charlie and Delta anchorages.
2.- Order the Ships anchored in Alpha Anchorage to have their engines ready (Stand-by).
3.- Reinforce the moorings of the docked ships.
All this from 0000 hours (LT) on April 5, 2023.
This condition will be maintained until the weather conditions improve.
