AGM inspection suspended in Liaoning
- AGM(Asia Gypsy Moth) inspection/certification services for vessels were temporarily suspended as of 26th July 2021. It should be noted that the suspension affected all ports in the Liaoning province NE China. This included Dalian, Dandong, Yingkou, etc., as announced by CCIC – the authorized inspection organization.
- Importantly, yearly AGM high-risk periods starts June 1 and ends September 31 in North China.
Chinese mainland reports 55 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases
- The Chinese mainland on Tuesday reported 55 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases. According to the National Health CommissionThis included 48 in the Jiangsu province, three in Sichuan and two each in Liaoning and Yunnan.
- Jiangsu Governor Wu Zhenglong said that Nanjing, will strengthen control measures to contain a recent COVID-19 outbreak. Experts have detected the highly contagious delta variant in this latest outbreak.
- All people living in the same building as a confirmed infected person must be quarantined. This will take place at designated sites, the Nanjing COVID-19 joint defence and control headquarters said.
