Our local agent in Turkey, Marti Shipping, advised us that agency fee tariff increases have been announced in Turkey.
The official minimum agency fee tariff applicable in Turkish waters has been increased. These new fees will be applied to vessels making port calls in Turkish ports and/or transiting through the Turkish Straits. Full details of which were published in the Official Gazette on 19th September 2023 – the English translation provided below was carried out by the Shipowners and Agents Association.
