The Marine Department of Hong Kong is stepping up quarantine measures due to the increased severity of the COVID-19 epidemic.
With effect from 29th July 2020, cargo ships calling at Hong Kong, are subject to stricter quarantine measures. For the full details, read this quarantine arrangement summary document for visiting vessels produced by Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection.
It is expected that these measures will be implemented until the pandemic is controlled, which will take at least 3-4 weeks.
