Effective January 1, 2025, the Panama Canal Authority will implement new rules and conditions for the Last-Minute Transit Reservation and the Vessel Scheduling Fee. These updates are designed to enhance flexibility and efficiency in the transit process. You can find the detailed guidelines here:
Key Highlights:
– The required arrival time of 2200 hours the day before booking for certain vessels is suspended until further notice. However, the arrival time in the Notice to Shipping N-07 still applies.
– Booked vessels can now change dates, request substitutions, and swap bookings.
